Take me to ASHA

Throughout my Undergraduate career at New Mexico State University (NSMU), I had the privilege to work in the Voice/Resonance Laboratory under a brilliant professor. Said professor has since left the university. The American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) holds an annual conference. Majority of professionals in Speech-Language Pathology and Speech Science fields attend this conference. I have the opportunity to present a poster of a study that I had the opportunity to work on as a research assistant. I hope to raise enough money so that I can make it to this conference, which is to be held in Orlando, FL. Attending this conference is just one step to helping me achieve my goals of working with people and helping them to communicate. After all, everyone should be able to communicate.
