I'm raising money for a father of three desperately in need of a Tommy John surgery to fix his torn UCL. All donations will go towards his surgery and rehabilitation!
Hello, I'm Laila Rousseau. My small family consists of three children and my lovely parents, Jennifer and Richard. My amazing father, Rick, has always dealt with health problems which is why, when he began experiencing issues with his left elbow, he wasn't extremely concerned and just figured it was random aches and pains. Two months and three doctors appointments later and he has now been informed that he has a major tear in his UCL (Ulnar Collateral Ligament). A UCL or Ulnar Collateral Ligament is the main ligament that both keeps your arm from dislocating and also holds together your upper and lower arm.
This injury is extremely painful and limits what he can do on a daily basis. It has caused the area around his elbow to swell up and radiate pain. He cannot extend his arm farther than 90 degrees and relies on other people to do even simple tasks like opening a door. With such a restrictive injury, we are hoping to get the surgery planned as soon as possible to ensure that he is in as little pain as possible. Thank you all for your generosity and we know God will bless you!
