More Info

On December 23, our dear friend, Jenny Lee suffered a stroke.  She lost movement of her left side and couldn’t speak clearly. She was sent home after evaluation in the Emergency Department after these symptoms resolved.  Unfortunately, two days later, late on Christmas day, the symptoms reappeared and she was taken to the hospital.  A rare condition in which blood flow in the brain is limited was suspected and despite being started on blood thinners and being closely monitored, Jenny proceeded to have 3 additional strokes in the next 4 days.   Jenny continues to have Left arm weakness, Left leg weakness, left-sided facial droop and mood lability.  She is currently hospitalized in the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit with careful watch of her blood pressure and symptoms.

As of today, New Year’s Eve 2019, Jenny is able to move her left pinky.  Her recovery is expected to be long with needs of inpatient rehabilitation, physical and occupational therapy.  We (Jenny’s friends and family), have organized this campaign to help her and her husband, Jeremy, with expenses related to hospitalization and recovery.

We greatly appreciate your gift and positive thoughts/prayers.

Thank you.
