Supporting a Vietnam Vet

From Kelly Luzzi

We are fundraising to make a Disabled Vietnam Veterans house safe again. There is currently exposed mold and asbestos that needs removed as well as wiring that needs redone from a small fire.

I am fundraising to support my husbands grandfather. His house is currently in an unsafe and unlivable state. His insurance will pay for him to rent a place during the loss of use of his current home but will not help us with the expenses to make it livable again.

We are looking for help to remove the asbestos, mold and to redo aluminum wiring which has caught fire.

We need the communities support to help.

“My grandparents helped raise me . We grew up extremely poor but my grandparents always made sure we had a roof over our head and food on the table. We are a very close family and spend as much time with each other as possible. It breaks my heart seeing their home in the condition it is in and how unsafe it has become for them to be living in. Any donation is appreciated. I just want my grand parents to be in a safe home.” - Christopher Luzzi

“My in-laws allowed me and their son to live in their house when we were young. The never questioned or asked for anything in return.  As their family has grown up they have helped with food and childcare any time they could. Now they just want to be able to stay in their home as long as possible. We have done what is in our knowledge to fix but there are things we are not knowledgeable about and cannot safely fix on our own. Any help is appreciated.”  -Karin Luzzi

Please share and donate if you can, we are so thankful for every penny and share we receive.
