Queen-Cheyenne Wade (they/she) is a Black-American grassroots organizer and educator based in Greater Boston. Queen was born and raised in Cambridge MA with family in Cambridge, Boston and Brockton. Their work focuses on ending cycles of carceral/colonial violence, transformative justice, youth leadership, Black Radical/Marxist frameworks. Queen-Cheyenne organizes with Greater Boston Marxists, Community For Us, By Us as well as other collectives centered on community care, decolonization and ending white supremacy.

Programs and Initiatives:

  • Community Circle processes: utilizing practices of restorative/transformative justice to support building processes of community care, safety and accountability in Black and Brown communities in Cambridge and Boston. 

  • Mutual Aid organizing : Coordinating the community fridge in the Port (The Bridge Fridge) and the Cambridge Mutual Aid Fund and the FTP Mutual Aid Fund. 

  • Community Safety Labs: Create space outside of direct service for practicing violence prevention, intervention and transformation for Black and Low-income communities in Cambridge.

  • Popular Education: Reading group and learning spaces centered in Black liberation and Black Marxist/Leftist theory.
