This fundraiser is intended to help Kat, their husband Tristen, and their two children manage their everyday bills during Kat’s painful recovery after a work-related accident badly damaged Kat's arm.
On Friday the 13th, Kat Adams was involved in a car accident during their work as a Para-transit Driver. Due to a severe concussion, they have no recollection of exactly what happened, but even more distressing was the damage to their arm. A fracture, combined with extreme damage to the muscles and skin, has already required two surgeries, a muscle graft and a skin graft. Not to mention their glasses were smushed. :(
They are unable to work for a minimum of two months, and it could be even longer. While they have already filed for worker’s compensation, the timeline for processing that far exceeds their immediate financial needs.
If you’re the kind of person who likes direct action instead of donation, we’ve also set up a way to provide the family with specific meals you can order directly to their home. You can arrange to send them a meal here. It’s so important to keep their kids consistently well-fed and housed during this frightening time.
Thank you so much for your support! Please share this everywhere you can. When we come together as a community, we can truly do some good.
