Josue dedicates his time and energy every day to our staff and students as a volunteer. Help us say thank you to him for his hard work and dedication.
A little more about Josue...He arrived to JHS as a newcomer from El Salvador speaking no English and graduated just three years later. Although Josue finished in June, he has spent the last few months volunteering at Justice, working with teachers and students to support their needs in the classroom. We want to thank Josue for his hard work and dedication to our students and the support he has given teachers.
His exemplary character and positive attitude have gained him the admiration and respect of teachers, administrators, and peers alike. He is passionate about setting goals and working tirelessly towards them, which invites others to do the same while adhering to the highest bar of morality and character and inspiring everyone around him.
Josue holds himself and those around him to remarkably high standards. He believes in the abilities and value of himself and others. His fearlessness, exhibited most recently by auditioning to speak at graduation and ultimately speaking to the faculty, is rooted in his belief that he is capable and worthy of achieving big goals. Josue dreams of being a teacher and hopes to attend college next year to help accomplish that goal.
We are so lucky to have Josue working with us and we hope to be able to give him a little gift to express our appreciation.
