The project is 100% supported by the visits since we offer a guided tour of our facilities in which we describe the crocodiles, their current conservation status, the importance of mangroves, and they can experience meeting them up close, touching them and creating a bond with them through a unique and safe interaction. Thanks to the support of visitors, who have come to learn about our project, experience, and discover the wonders that wildlife holds for us, the El Cora Crocodile Sanctuary has remained with conservation work, wildlife rescue, as well as supporting research programs and environmental education events. All the fauna that we have inside the Sanctuary was rescued and due to different situations could not be reintroduced to their habitats, but we try to reintroduce most of the rescued fauna (e.g., this year we have released about 12 new species of crocodiles). this year we have released about 12 rescued crocodiles, 20 opossums, 7 iguanas, 2 gulls, woodpeckers, etc.)
