Support for Casey

Support for Casey

From Mikaela Louise Blumhardt

Casey was assaulted on Friday night during the Brown County Fair. He has to have reconstructive surgery on the left side of his face and can not work until he is healed. This is to help offset medical and living costs.

Update #1

We wanted tp update everyone on everything that has been going on with Casey since we made the original post. He has since had 2 surgeries, one to pull his cheek bone back forward into place and put 2 plates in to hold the cheek while it heels and he also had a second surgery to put a plate under and next to his eye to rebuilt his eye socket and prevent his eye from "sinking in" or the muscles getting trapped preventing his eye from moving. The cheek surgery was on August 29 in Aberdeen and the second surgery was October 11 at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He has been out of work since the second surgery and will be for a short while longer until the plate under his eye grows into place to prevent it from dislodging. Thank you to everyone who has been standing behind Casey and has donated to help him through this time. He still has a long road ahead, but things are starting to look up from the last time that we posted anything. Hoping to have him healed and back to work and healed very soon.

Thank You Again.

More Info

Casey is a valuable individual of the Aberdeen area. He is an Aberdeen Rural Firefighter, paramedic at Midwest Medical Transport Company, manager/operator at Auto Trim Design, holds a board of directors spot on the Aqua Addicts Water Ski team as well as drives the ski boat. He is always the first to hop in and help anyone in need. This situation is turning Casey's life upside down and any help would be beyond greatly appreciated. This donated money will be used towards medical and living expenses because Casey will not be able to work while reconstructive surgery is being done to his left side of his face. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity.
