Dear Supporters:

As many of you know Dana and I are now in Jackson, MS and Dana is Student Minister at Pinelake Church. She is loving her new role in ministry and we are settleing in. Dana and I feel that God’s mission for us is to reach students for Christ no matter where we live. God has given us this unique time in our lives where we can both serve in a ministry position. I have been with First Priority National staff for 1 year and 5 months As of January 1. I will be transitioning my focus locally with youth pastors in the Jackson Metro area to build First Priority here. Dana and I thank you for the support that you have already given to us to build First Priority in Decatur, which is thriving, and we hope that you will continue to give to us now.

Here is what we pray
1. That you will know that you are a missionary full time. When you give to First Priority in any state you are giving so that the Gospel of Jesus Christ will be spread. Even though you cannot go on mission every day with First Priority you enable us to go.
2. We pray that you will not as kthe question why should you give to Jackson, MS. Jackson is one of the areas with the highest crime rate. After Hurricane Katrina 1,000 of people groups were relocated to Jackson to find work. Jackson Mississippi needs Christ in a big way. There is a huge harvest here. We know as faithful people of God that you will also be burdened for this need.
3. That you will see that you are part of a huge work and the big picture. So many of you have been a huge part of helping to build First Priority. We pray that you will take the time to read our newsletters and see that your giving is being used to build a kingdom, the Kingdom of God.

We could never say enough thanks for what you have done for us. We covet your prayers and your gifts. Please pray and consider continuing to support our mission in Jackson, MS.

Here’s how you can pray:

1. pray that we will have favor with Principals and schools officials as we meet to start relationships with them.
2. Pray that our students will rise up as leaders in their schools to share with others about Christ.
3.Pray that others like you will support First Priority.
4. Pray for vision casting preparations. This is a event that we will host in the city to share how individuals can be involved. This event will also serve as a launching point for the ministry.
5. The non profit status - this will allow us to become a full functioning non profit to serve the local churches and schools in the Jackson metro area.
