More Info

The Summer Language Workshop offers intensive programs for less-commonly-taught languages, including Arabic, Chinese, Haitian-Creole, Hungarian, Korean, Lithuanian, Persian, Russian, and many more. To enhance students' learning and cultural understanding, these two-month long workshops combine:

  • Language training with professional development seminars
  • Job recruiting sessions
  • History and culture presentations
  • "Hands-on" activities in the language

Workshop participants finish the summer equipped for international careers in academia, industry, non-profit management, or government service.

However, financial need can put the Summer Language Workshop out of reach for many students. Please consider making a gift to the Summer Language Workshop Scholarship fund! Your gift will enable deserving students to attend the Summer Language Workshop and prepare for rewarding, successful international careers.
