Why did I set up this fund which goes directly to help the animals hurt anddisplaced by the Moore, Oklahoma Tornado?

I can't just sit here knowing that the monster tornadoes that struck Oklahoma Monday scattered pets far from their destroyed homes and not do anything about it. People are desperately trying to find their pets but the town shelters surrounding Moore, OK are now at their capacity.

I've made a direct connection with the people who run Animal Resource, Inc. (http://arcokc.org/) out of Oklahoma City, OK who are already housing several dozen displaced animals from the horrific storm. They have 40 new crates arriving today (5/21/2013) as they expect the number of animals being dropped off to rise substantially. They are one of the few shelters that has the ability to handle an influx of hundreds of animals but the cost is substantial.

All of the funding raised here will go directly to ARC, a 501 C 3 not for profit rescue organization and to be used solely for the purpose of taking care of and reuniting pets with their owners.

Every dollar helps so whether you donate $2 or $200 know that you are making a difference.

Love and Light,

Steven Spitz
