Pine Street Coalition fights to stop the $43 million Champlain Parkway, start a public re-design that's cheaper, greener, quicker and much safer. Let's cut injuries, help business and the environment, and save money!
The grassroots volunteer Pine Street Coalition has worked for two years to transform a decades old obsolete highway to a roadway our City can love. We face now just one choice, taking the battle against the highway interests to court to stop the project and allow a public process to redesign the highway. Safety is the key concern as the project increases the rates of crashes and injuries to South End travelers. You can help--$6 symbolizes the last public input in 2006, $9 2009 when the project documents were final, and $18 for 2018 when we face the legal battle, the last opportunity to stop and start anew a neighborhood re-design process. Your contribution helps add to the number of residents and supporters of safe streets for all who walk, bike and travel by car!
