Dear givers My name is Olive, as a healthcare specialist and children's right defender and promoter, i advocate for the inclusion. I came to realize that children in wheelchairs often are segregated from other children or maybe singled out to participate in events and social activities when they would rather just be treated without discrimination. The situation is critical, alarming and we have to prevent cruelties most of these children are victims of in the environment, bearing in mind that every child deserves the chance to be happy.
BACKGROUND As parents, actors in the society with human nature of compassionate hearts, it is our responsability to ensure that every child is adequately included in all activities of daily life, and is able to move around freely and explore the world surrounding him just as able-bodied children can. Parenting an orphan, poor, abandoned, and neglected child with physical disability from an underprivileged background in 3rd World (African) countries with the absence of democracy and local government implication in child healthcare support is quite challenging especially those facing ongoing security conflicts. GOALS Our team has decided to embark on a journey to support 3000 physical disabled children and youths with a donation of 3000 wheelchairs to children in orphanages, prisons, hospitals, schools, local rural community based in the different countries of Lake Chad such as (Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Central African Republic and Equatorial Guinee) who are currently affected by crises and where about 10 million children remain in desperate need of aid and humanitarian assistance. Our goal is to raise enough fund ($1M) to cover the cost of purchase of the kids wheelchairs, shipping transportation and additional expenses for the travel and accommodation of our team during our stay overseas in the process of distributing the wheelchairs. We would like to invite you create a fundraising network to help these children in need of help and support. Sending us your prayers, positive thoughts and contribute financially, share so as to connect with other networks to attain our goals in this project is fundamental. Your donation is vital to restore a smile, hope on children faces and working together hand in hand will save lives. Any donation from you will be appreciated. THANK YOU
