My husband, a C6-7 Quad, is on his 2nd year since his injury. I'm wanting to raise money for my husband to receive stem cells. I'm his wife and also his caregiver & this is an opportunity for him to gain independence.
Thank you all so much! Truly from the bottom of my heart thank you! I can't wait to take Wayne to go get stem cells and post his journey with them for you all. God bless you all and thank you so very much!!
It's going on 2 years since my husband had his injury. From day 1 I was by his side and I wasn't worried about what was ahead of us. Little did I know that I would not only be a wife, but I would also become his caregiver. Being able to witness my husband go from not moving anything to moving more than people expected is remarkable. If I had one wish it would be for my husband to have a chance of moving his fingers or even just 2 fingers. Honestly anything would be great. This year we went and spoke with a couple doctors who recommended stem cell therapy and we also met and spoke with people who have received them. The only hold back is the fact that the price tag is a bit out of our reach. After medical bills, supplies, and trying to live, stem cells seem a bit of a far reach. I'm at a point where I WILL TRY ANYTHING for my husband. I could never imagine my 6'4" husband would become a quadriplegic before our 2nd year marriage anniversary, but my fight for him to get back up is going to be worth it. I just know it. God bless.
So we finally hit the Month of February. This is the month that changed everything we ever knew about life. In 2 1/2weeks it'll be 2 Years since Wayne's accident. I can't believe how time has flown. He's changed so much and has so much more to go. We are so grateful for all donations and shares. I pray we reach our goal so that Wayne can get stem cells to gain more. As of now we are working hard on his upper body strength. God bless all of you!
