Janell had a previous stem cell transplant in 2015 which worked great and stopped her disease. unfortunately on a few patients it comes back. Dr. Frederinko says every once in a while it takes two times to stop the progression of the disease.  here is some info...

CIDP is the abbreviation for Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy. This is a rare neurological disorder involving inflammation of the nerve roots and peripheral nerves and destruction of the fatty protective covering over the nerves. The main symptoms of CIDP are slow and progressive symmetric weakness of the muscles around the hips  and shoulders, and the hands and feet. Other symptoms include fatigue, burning pain, difficulty swallowing and double vision. The causes of CIDP are largely unknown, but there is strong medical evidence that it is an autoimmune disorder meaning that the body's own natural defenses against invading organisms actually wind up attacking and destroying the body’s own healthy tissues and organs.

CIDP is often difficult to diagnose and difficult to treat as well. It is sometimes thought of as a chronic form of Acute Inflammatory Demyelinating Peuropathy (AIDP). The most common form of  AIDP is Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS). GBS is described as a subacute disorder that develops over approximately 3 to 4 weeks and then usually improves over several months and does not recur. CIDP, on the other hand, has symptoms that exceed eight weeks in duration and usually does not improve without ongoing treatment. GBS can develop into the more serious chronic form, CIDP.

there is compensation for this disease because it seems to be caused by vaccines. but we were out of statute of limitations.

The Vaccination Injury Compensation Program mandates that only certain vaccines are covered. For a full list of covered vaccines, please click the link below. It is important to note that Lawyer’s fees are paid out of the Fund whether you win or lose, as long as the case was filed “in good faith and with a reasonable basis.”
