Abby is heading the the Kalahari Resort in the Poconos for the Cheer and Dance Extreme FINALE!

Abriel has come tackled so many obstacles this past year that there was no way we were going to hold her back from making her goals happen this year. Many of you know our family bought a house this year, so our girls had to leave our hometown and school to move to a new place where we knew no one. The girls joined softball in the fall but as soon as Miss Abby could find a team that took her late try out, it was back to bows and bonnies for her.

Shortly after that Abby broke her hip tumbling for her tryout (still made the team) and unexpectedly, I lost my full time position at my job. That did not stop Abby, within 6 weeks that spunky kid was right back on that mat, just in time for a foot surgery 4 weeks later. It was safe to say she was on on a mission because she came back and fought through the last few comps like it didn't even phase her! Helped her team bring home several titles and they have yet another stop in March!

Abby is finally feeling at home and has even been asked to start working to be a jr coach next year, but she ages out of the local rec team so this will be her first and last season cheering for CDYR! Now she is on her way the the FInale to prove they are the best of the best! With that she has asked her father and I to allow her commit classes for the next two months so she is ready for her comp andfor tryouts in the spring! Of course how can you say no to such determination! Unfortunately, there are some hurdles, I have yet to replace my full time work and with all our other humans we have many other expenses. So, we are trying some new avenues to try to make this happen for her! That's where this may help. We are hoping to raise enough to cover Abby's upcoming hotel stays, dues, maybe even some fun money for celebration at the Kalahari after the comp. We just want one less thing for Abby to feel worried about as she is old enough to understand what financial strain is. She offers to work constantly and is always saving money to go to open gyms and to pay for cheer we just want her to be a kid!

This is not our first fundraiser as you all know! Abby has had sponsors help her make it to Reach the Beach Nationals it was amazing to see the cheerleaders, cheerleaders step up and show up, family, friends, even former coaches! THIS CAN WORK! Pride has got in my way to much in the past and its unfair to these kids/athletes to not get to explore every avenue of their potential!
