Spare Water: A Dynamic Water Bowling Event

We have fully funded the drilling of a deep-water borehole in Laisamis, Kenya!  Please join this campaign to fund a sustainable pump and distribution system for the well.

Here are the the three steps to taking part...

  • Sign up to be a fundraiser for this campaign.
  • Spread the word to your networks about the great need for clean water in Laisamis.
  • Join Dynamic Water at The Alley, located on Hilsborough Street in Raleigh, for a family-friendly bowling fundraiser at 2PM on Saturday, March 1.

We are asking that participants sign up to be a Supporter on our fundly campaign and donate or raise a minimum of $25.  Participants can form teams of up to 6 people.  Prizes will be given for the top individual fundraiser and for the top fundraising team.  We will also be giving away prizes throughout the event.

Dynamic Water, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing access to clean, safe drinking water to communities in need, is working to bring a water solution to the Rendille Tribe near the town of Laisamis in remote Northern Kenya.

We have partnered with a indigineous Kenyan organization who has been working in Laisamis to holistically serve the Rendille Tribe in Laisamis since 2002, providing for their physical, emotional, medical, educational, and spiritual needs.  Our goal is to empower the local leaders in Laisamis by providing a source of life-giving, life-sustaining, and even life-saving water.

We have fully funded the drilling of a deep-water borehole.  We are now working to fund a sustainable pump and distribution system that includes a solar-powered pump, solar panels, a water tank and tower, and a kiosk for water distribution.  The total cost of this solution is $19,000.  We will be raising the funds for each component separately, starting with $4,000 for the submersible pump and its additional parts.
