Over the past 3 years, Sista Afya Community Mental Wellness has reached and impacted over 700 young Black women in Chicago through therapeutic services, social events, and wellness experiences. We believe that building community is what's necessary for  sustainable mental wellness for generations to come. Our approach is simple - we make mental wellness accessible, affordable, and culturally relevant while centering Black women. We need your support to make a deeper impact in our community.

We are seeking financial support to keep all of our wellness events low-cost under $15 to make high-quality mental wellness experiences accessible for our community.

Wellness events we hosted this past year included: Afro-futuristic art, yoga, meditation, aromatherapy class, and afro-zumba.

We are also seeking support for our large scale events in 2020 including but not limited to: a free arts festival, a free weekend conference, and a community mixer.

Watch our videos and read our testimonials to get a picture of how we are impacting the lives of Black women in Chicago.

Thank you for supporting and loving us and our larger community.

*Sista Afya Community Mental Wellness is a social enterprise and is not a 501(c)3 organization. We are responsible with our profits and invest them back into our service offerings and community.
