I would, first, like to thank you for reading my story and/or donating to help my family. Your time and generosity are and will be immensely appreciated.

I am a single mom trying to make it on my own. For the last, almost, year, I have struggled with many obstacles in my life, including my physical and mental health.

I lost my job awhile ago, due to unseen and unexpected circumstances in my life and health. I haven't been able to land another job since. I'm out looking everyday; looking online too. I live in a small town that's mostly college students and that's mainly who is hired for positions that are available.

I am terribly close to losing my home and that terrifies me to my core. If that happens, I will be on the street, as I don't have family close or friends here that would be able to help in that situation. They're are, also, no shelters in my area to check on or ask for resources.

I have utilized all the resources that are available to me here in my county and can't receive help for 12 months from initial help, that would be February. I'm putting myself out there everyday to get myself stable, including job searching and working with the employment department to find work as well. I have applied for housing, but they have a wait-list of 3+ years. I've exhausted every avenue I can take at this point and I'm desperate to keep my place, security, and safety for my family.

My goal is to get enough to pay our rent for the remainder of the year to give us stability and me more time to find work.

All donations will go towards rent and utilities to keep my household up and running.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to read my story.

Be blessed, always.
