- We are film students at ESRA (École Supérieure de Réalisation Audiovisuelle) in Paris. We are producing our second year film, Flick of the Wrist, a 10-minute short produced by Quentin Viel and written and directed by Washington DC native, Sage Brown. And we need your help. So what’s it about?
- Claire is face to face with the Devil, a sliver of hope and a contract between them. Two weeks ago, her husband was dragged to Hell. Claire would not accept that. Now she has one dice roll to save his soul. But deals with the Devil are never that simple. The story follows Claire as she faces the consequences of her husband’s actions. At every step of the way, Claire chooses to move forward and keep fighting. She chooses to do right even when it does not benefit her, to save others even when she cannot save herself.
- Flick of the Wrist is the brainchild of writer/director Sage Brown, supported by her second year team. It will produced in French with English subtitles.
