On Saturday March 1, 2014, my Aunt Sharon Winfield passed away suddenly in her Petersburg, Va home leaving behind many friends and family members who love her dearly, including myself, her niece. Our family is pained and shocked over her unforseen death. As many of you may know, the death of a loved one is extremely difficult to cope with and it becomes much more difficult when there is the added stress of trying to cover funeral costs. My Aunt Sharon did not have life insurance, and therefore, my family is banding together to raise the money to give her the burial that she deserves. One of her wishes was to not be cremated upon her death. We want nothing more than to make her final wish come true.
Our goal is to raise $5000 to cover the cost of the funeral package that the funeral home has offered us. We would love to lay her to rest by this upcoming Saturday March 8, 2014. We are asking that you help us achieve our goal in laying our beautiful Sharon to rest and giving her the homegoing ceremony that she wanted. Every little bit helps.
