Service Dog for Support and Freedom

Service Dog for Support and Freedom

From Sarah Bucy

I am a wheelchair using 21 year old with POTS which makes me a fall hazard on my feet, EDS causing dislocations, increasingly severe asthma and migraines, PTSD, anxiety and Autism. A service dog would provide safety.

My name is Sarah Bucy, a 21 year old disabled girl. I have lived with chronic pain as long as I can remember, living day to day with a level of pain that no one would believe. At age 16, my mother finally noticed that I was sitting abnormally and we began doing research. Eventually at age 18, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and Ehler-Danlos Syndrome. On top of that, my heart rate doesn't properly regulate and standing for long periods is dangerous, making me a fall hazard. I need a dog that can both help with the physical issues and my mental health problems. I am autistic with anxiety, depression and severe ADHD making it difficult to even respond to non-physical reminders. I have little support from my family on this and have run out of places to apply for aid. Please, if you can share or donate, anything will help. I can't get anywhere to listen and
