Thank you! I was seriously faced with homelessness at age 64! Not no more, TFN. My need was for one month rent and security deposit for an apartment.
I wish you a super-Merry Christmas to you who donated to keep me from homelessness, eight months ago! With supplication, humility and ultimate Thanksgiving, Joy and Peace on Earth as we culminate this year. As the late Jim Nabors said in his role as "Gomer Pyle, USMC" "Thank ya, Thank ya, Thank ya!"

The first reward I want to send to all of my supporters are photos of my new roof over my head! If I do not have your personal email address, please send it to me via Facebook messenger, of DM at Twitter or SMS/text. So you can see what your donations helped me live in! Thanks again to you.
Thanks to you, I moved into an apartment yesterday (paRooshkie "vchera") Now, I do not have to try to live in the car. Thanks to all of you who donated!! .it is not a big place, but it is bigger and more comfy than a car and I was able to purchase an air mattress so I do not have to sleep on the hardwood floor. Praise G_D. For those who did not donate, what can I say? Ya missed-out on being part of something special. You will be welcomed to my housewarming party as well, however, sometime this late summer, I guess.
. The Fundly people reminded me that I haven’t gotten any donations lately and suggest that I want to Invite more friends to become donors over the next days leading up to my move on Friday May 12th. A friend in NYC asked me, "how are you going to live after one month?" Great Question. I am interviewing strong and this evening going to a Networking session after work in Charleston; Wednesday a Job Fair from 11am - 2pm and Thursday is my interview at the office of the Attorney who is the Director of the Homeless Justice Project here in Charleston. It will surely be nervous times.
If I came back to NYC, it would be the same situation - or worse. Cannot move back in with mother because then she would lose her live-in Home Attendant. I cannot take over all of that because she is at the stage where she benefits from the professional female care.
I look forward to a few more DONATION$! Thank you so very much.
This tune comes to mind amidst frustration at out of my control procrastination and an unfulfilled life. Our favorite "Blue-eyed Soul Brothers" from back in the daze. "Just Once In My Life, Can I Get What I Want..."
Today, "Cinco De Mayo, was supposed to be moving day for me, but due to circumstances out of my control (procrastinating Inspectors), the Management let me know it is postponed until May 12th. Therefore, and because the Host lady agreed I can stay put for another week, I will keep donations open, just for you who might have forgotten or been too busy this week. I'd like to throw a "bone" t o the host lady on my way out next week - it is the right thing to do - for her trouble and help. Also know I have been interviewing often and look forward to a networking event early next week and a "big" meeting on May 11th that I will fill you in on afterwards. Have a nice weekend.
I have to publicize this one, and I pray he does not mind it: As my Adelphi University alumni brother and legislator, Congressman Gregory Meeks proved, you can still donate to this friend-in-need. indeed! I am overcome and overjoyed, Manu DiBango-style at his noticing me and donating!! (Slight inside joke there from undergrad days)...
Even though sand has run through the hourglass, I just wanted you to know that if you forgot to donate, you still may do so and any additional funds will e used for moving expenses combined with visiting my 92 year-old Mum in NYC as I collect my belongings to bring to the new roof over my head. Thanks Again Family!
Dearest new Family who donated to this urgent crowdfunding campaign,
I come to announce that, Thanks to a generous return-to- donate donation by Stephen Clark this evening, we have now crossed the $2000 goal line. This is a donor appreciation moment!
We still have one day left and I ask that if you forgot to or had any technical issue with donating, that you please return to try again right through the remaining day, just in-case someone hits me with a fee or obstacle ahead of or during my anticipated move-in this Friday, May 5, 2017. Thank you! Or as my Ukrainian g/f taught me to say, 'Spasibo" for taking time out of your busy lives to help me.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I have asked the Fundly site and they have approved an extension of the deadline to achieve our $2,000 goal until this Wednesday,, May 3, 2017. Please now, donate today, tonight tomorrow and Wednesday. For real and Thank you so much. Looking for you....

So now we have only HOURS left for you to help me. Please donate and jump aboard this almost successful campaign to help me move into an apartment and avoid becoming homeless by the end of this week! Thank you Teri of Phoenix, Arizona for your $10 donation and Limarise of Nashville, Tennessee for your $40 donation which proves that every donation amount makes a DIFFERENCE!My Ladies finally checking IN! lol I PRAY please and ask for your donate through the night to help me reach my goal.
Good Morning and Happy "May Day". May 1st is a special day in many countries and the phrase "May Day" developed significance as a cry for Help during the second World War. As such it is a cry for help from me today because you have only 1 day left to get your donation in so that we, together can reach my $2000 goal and keep me from having to live in the car. Thank you to Tito Ramos from Long Island who just donated $50 this morning! Raising as much as we have is awesome; please help cross the finish line with a big push today just in-case I encounter unknown fees. All donors will receive the perks listed and all donations through the end will get the special-edition "Cheetah DJ" T-Shirt.
"Words are easy, like the wind; Faithful friends are hard to find.” ~ William Shakespeare
Part II of "Who says you cannot donate more than once??" Thanks to good brother from Atlantic City, New Jersey, Kool Ronnie Bee, who returned Sunday evening to donate another $100, I am now only $300 away from surpassing my goal and sealing the deal with the new property managers who will give me the key to a newly renovated apartment on Friday, May 5th. BUT WE ARE not there yet and I still need you, who have been on the fence or maybe busy with your own life, to remember to sigh in and donate whatever you can right now, please. What I have raised is such a blessing. Don't you want to be a part of something special like this? I know you do, so come and get that special edition T-shirt!
Who says you only donate once? Thanks you to Martha of Nashville, Tennessee for returning this morning to donate another $50 to my urgent campaign not to become homeless this week! Time is getting very short an I really need the whole $2000. Housing is surprisingly expensive here (almost like NYC) and so I need your help today to meet or surpass my goal. All who donate from now until the end of the campaign, $100 or more will receive a special "Naphtali Cheetah DJ" t-shirt. More details on that on Monday (tomorrow). I look forward to hearing from you.
It is "Silver $ Sunday"! Please Pledge at least ONE Silver Dollar (include email address and I will send you e-thanks) . If every social media friend pledges a BUCK today, we inch closer to our $2000 goal. Onbly a couple of day left on this incredibly inspirational (for me) campaign. Read the project page for back story and updated information on rewards for donating, please.
Back when I was an undergrad at Adelphi Universitry, In Garden City, New York,, when my roommate in the dormitory, Kendo and I became frustrated that a woman of our desire was not paying attention to us as we'd like it,we developed a saying, "catalyst needed". As I approach the final days of this urgent-to-keep-me-from-living-in-a-car campaign, this phrase came to me again as I fell to sleep last night. Catalyst Needed ow to reach or surpass the $2000 goal and keep me from having to live in a car in a parking lot someplace. Please pass the plate for me on Sunday and donate the proceeds to me. Notice another reward level is added and I am designing the T-shirts and caps for your support.
Can’t donate? Please share. Even a quick share on Facebook can help.
