From Richard Wagner

I have developed a Bible/Scripture meditation desktop application and I need funding so I can start a website and devote my time to market the software and help customers( I would have to stop my day job.)

I found that these email list companies are a rip-off. So it looks like I'll have to spend a lot of time finding churches/individuals who'd be interested. I knew that would be the case. So, again the funds would be for me to do this for one year, full time. If I find a good process for this, and can hire someone who'd be able to help with lists, then that would be part of the cost. I'll also try as much "free" types of advertising

More Info

I have spent years (because I've also had to work full-time to support myself) developing a software program for Scripture/Bible Meditation. I know, myself included, don't spend the time needed for real meditation (it's slow), and I believe that God has given me the inspiration to come up with a program which disciplines a believer to do it. If they stick with it, I believe that they'll make tremendous progress in their walk with God. There's also a couple of other great features: one is to have a quick way of verifying how well you can  recall verses/passages from memorization by typing out the verse (only by typing the letters: it fills the punctuation/caps and spaces.)    And another great advantage of this tool is that if you get stuck on a letter or word, you just have to hit the space bar, and it will give you the next letter. Helps you to want to try your hand at memorizing and recalling, which also is a quick verification of previous memorized Scripture. Another feature is a pop-up text editor in which you can record any thoughts on the Scripture you've been meditating on. It's advantage is in saving your log or entry. Just press the save button and it will create the folders pertaining to the referenced passage or verse. It is very effective as it makes you want "to put something down on paper"; and believe me, the Holy Spirit will give you plenty of light, commensurate with the proper meditation that ScriptureMeditationGuide™ provides and is your prayer: "Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law." Psalms 119: 18. Lastly, referencing the Scripture (New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs,) is very easy as you'll navigate with speedy arrow keys: there's no input boxes to type out the text! There's a free trial version so you can find out for your self how enriched you'll be with the ultimate software tool for Scripture Meditation!

Update #1

Hi Folks,

I just did some pricing on email list marketing for churches. For 53,,000 churches it would cost approximately $4000.00 Not cheap, but probably worth it. I hope that churches would be able to check out the trial software and make purchases. They'll get a discount for purchases of 5 or more downloads. The software is only $4.45 They can get it for the discounted price of $3.00. I'm not looking to make much of a profit.. I'm more concerned with the number of people who'll get this much needed software and to cover expense. Thanks for your interest.
