Toby is a very friendly and intelligent Mexican dog. He lives on a short leash, in the backyard 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I offered to buy Toby and the owner says he will only sell him for $250 usd.

Toby is tied up all day and night on a short leash behind a shack. I have been walking him for the owner, when he allows it. Toby is great.
I'm working with a local animal rescue here in Sayulita, Mexico, Sayulita Animals. They will help find Toby a wonderful, loving home where he will be free to be a dog.
The owner said he will only sell Toby for $250 USD. So I am asking for $300 ($390 CAD) to also cover vaccination, neutering, and and medicine. We also need a special trainer to make sure he's safe for families.
I can pay this on my own, but your help will be awesome. Thanks! And I'll shout out in the next video when he's free!

Hey everyone. Toby update!
His ticket has been purchased and he's been adopted! Great success.
He will be flying to San Francisco to the Shepherd rescue, and then he will be adopted. Thank you to the donors who paid for the entire flight! Toby will have a great life. I'll get more pics when they come to me.

Great news! After a lot of drama, I got Toby out of there, and into a foster home! We even had a doggie training session and he learned "Sit." What a good boy.
Thank you everyone! I paid them and the deal is done. I also got a lot of footage to make a new and final video. Look forward to it.
Any extra fund raising will go to help pay for his training and flight to the USA. It will go to Sayulita Animals.

The couple didn't come home from the hospital today. I've been waiting since yesterday morning, when I was supposed to get him. Hopefully her birth goes well.
But... they forgot to feed Toby, and I wasn't allowed in the back yard. So I dropped him dog cookies over the wall.
When the son returned from work I told him "I have the $5k" and he said he texted them, but no reply. Toby almost broke his neck jumping and trying to greet me.
Now I'm waiting until tomorrow. I only have two days left in this state, and I fly to San Cristobal, Chiapas.

Today is the day I approach the owner with the money. This is a critical day because the owner is likely to change his mind and say "F%$ you Gringo!"
