The people of peaceful Hambantota Sri Lanka need your help now more than ever. While we receive a $2,000 government stimulus check the people in my home town are lucky if they qualify for $30 from the government.
We are all very blessed to live in the United States despite the current pandemic state of affairs. I grew up in a tiny village in the southern province of Sri Lanka known as Hambantota. We need your help to save this area which is facing dire food shortages based on the underemployment levels due to COVID-19. Hambantota is a peaceful town undergoing urbanization based on a new port expansion effort in the region. Many people were employed by this and have strong family roots in the region. Historically our town and neighboring towns are popular tourist destinations known for their natural beauty and friendly people. Check out the video for a first hand look inside our town!
My family has stepped up and created this funding opportunity to feed an entire town for at least 1 week. I am personally donating $500-$1,000 to this cause and will regularly provide updates and information on the state of affairs.
