More Info

IHSS (Idiopathic Hypertrophic Sub-Aortic Stenossis) is form of Cardiomyopathy where the heart keeps on growing beyond the age of 18. The inner muscle of the heart, the septum keeps on growing and to compensate the outer muscle also grows in turn, eventually the inner heart's muscle growth the septum causes an obstruction to the outflow of the blood which leads to sudden death. IHSS(Idiopathic Hypertrophic Sub-Aortic Stenossis) is also called Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy (HOCM). It is an inherited disease of the heart that causes thickening of the heart muscles and other changes to the heart that significantly impairs its function. IHSS (Idiopathic Hypertrophic Sub-Aortic Stenossis) is a disease characterized by marked hypertrophy of the left ventricle, involving in particular the interventricular septum and the left ventricular outflow tract. During systole, the hypertrophied muscle in the outflow tract often narrows this region sufficiently to produce obstruction to left ventricular ejection this causes an obstruction to the outflow of the blood which most common symptoms are dyspnea, angina, dizziness and syncope. Although IHSS is rare it is the most common cause of sudden death in young people. When one is unable to breathe one will panic as it’s the first thing we do and we do this without thinking it is done instinctively. If one cannot breathe one dies in a matter of seconds for most of us...this is how I developed Anxiety/Panic Disorder and in turn Depression. Plus because of physicians that prescribed me the wrong medications such as anti-depressants and anti-anxiety/panic pills instead of listening closely to my heart.
