Update #3

Hello everyone! It’s been about 2 1/2 weeks since our fundraiser and we can officially announce that we have reached our goal and distributed all relief bags! Aside from the money raised on Fundly we also collected from personal donations. With the $2,000 that we raised we were able to repack and distribute 133 relief bags to families in the towns of Basak and Bobon.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our relief fund! We are grateful to each and every one of you. Without your help this would not have been possible. A special thank you to the people who purchased the goods, repacked and distributed the bags, and who were in constant communication with us. Your giving spirit made a difference as we helped provide to those in need. Thank you all again for making this relief fund a success!

More Info

My mother's hometown has been destroyed by Typhoon Rai (locally known as Odette) and people are suffering through this experience with no food, water, and shelter. Houses along the coastal line have been totally wiped out and are currently receiving little help due to its remote location.

We are asking for financial donations of any amount which I will personally guarantee will go to helping Southern Leyte rise out of this unimaginable despair and provide basic human necessities.

Update #2

Hello once again! We are happy to announce that with your help we have started buying and packing the items needed for each relief pack.

There have been a few changes that were made from our last update. The water refilling station is now back open to the public so we have decided not to include water in our pack.

Each pack now includes:
- Rice
- Packs of noodles
- Canned corned beef
- Canned beef loaf
- Canned pork & beans
- Crackers
- Loaf of bread
- Margarine
- Eggs
- Toothpaste
- Soap
- Shampoo & Conditioner

Thank you very much again for your generous donations! Without your help this would not have been possible.

We are almost to our goal! Please consider sharing this link with your friends and family. By providing a small donation you can be part of an effort to help families rebuild their lives.
