Safe and Sound Healing Grounds

Most of you know me as Jenn of All Trades, the girl who does it all. Over the years, I’ve built a reputation for tackling anything from electrical and plumbing to sewing, interior design, and mechanical work. Recently, however, I had to step away from my business to focus on my mental health. During this time, I experienced a powerful vision and calling from God to use my skills and experiences to help women like me.

While I plan to relaunch my business, I’ll be retiring the name “Jenn of All Trades” and transitioning to a new chapter under the name "That’s What She Threads." If you know me, you know I love to crack a joke here and there, so the name is a playful nod to the iconic "That’s What She Said" line from The Office. It reflects my sense of humor while highlighting the strength and resilience of women coming together. One piece of string may not hold much, but when threads unite, they create something unbreakable.

As a survivor of domestic abuse, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to believe in yourself after enduring such trauma. My mission is to share my story with other women, helping them see that it was never their fault and that there is a life—full, happy, and independent—beyond their abuser.

I am transforming my home into a safe haven for victims of domestic abuse and their children. Here, they will not only find a secure place to heal but also learn essential skills needed to stand on their own. I’ll be teaching everything from basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work to sewing, construction, and home maintenance—equipping them to build a life they can be proud of without relying on anyone else.

This journey is about more than survival; it’s about empowerment, self-love, and the power of community. It’s about showing these women—and the world—that when you dedicate yourself fully, anything is possible. Together, we’ll help them rediscover their strength and create lives filled with confidence and hope.
