From Igor Tregub

This Sunday I'm participating in the Bay Bridge Half to raise money for the people of my homeland Ukraine, who are bravely fighting for the whole world. Please contribute what's comfortable for you. Many thanks!

Update #4

Dear friends,

I'm so grateful to the nearly 800 donors who contributed over $50K to Ukraine aid across all platforms, including the 221 donors who have raised nearly $20K on this one. On Friday I learned that the bulletproof vests - one of the many projects for which we raised funds - saved the lives of seven civilians bravely resisting Putin's brutal occupation for the entire world.

We must keep going. Today I am running the Bay Bridge Half with the goal of raising $5500. That will be enough to save more lives - and feed 55 Ukranian families of four for a month.

I appreciate all you have already done, and would be grateful for your continued support.

Slava Ukraini,
Igor

More Info

This Sunday I'm participating in the Berkeley 10K to raise money for the people of my homeland Ukraine, who are under attack by a rogue authoritarian power. For every kilometer I run, I humbly ask that you contribute whatever amount is comfortable for you, but that you please dig deep. $100 can pay for a month of food for a family of four. Less than $5000 in bulletproof vests - secured through our fundraising efforts - saved the lives of seven citizens bravely fighting for our homeland. Thank you for your contribution. Slava Ukraini!

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause, which means so much to me, but more importantly, to my family and the people of my homeland.

Update #3

Dear friends,

Again, I'm overwhelmed by your generosity. We have raised nearly $11,500 to date. This tranche of funding plus whatever else is raised before then will be released tomorrow. In the meantime, I have another humble request.

As our people are being pounded by heavy artillery fire, there is an immediate need for relief that will arrive faster than the c3 funding for which we've been fundraising so far. If you're in a position to kick in additional contribution towards this cause, however great or small - all of it matters, please Venmo me at @igor-Tregub or find me on PayPal (itregub@gmail.com). Please Include the note "Immediate Ukraine aid." I'm in touch with Ukranian citizens who can immediately get those funds to where they're needed most. Thanks for your generosity and all you do! Slava Ukraini!

Update #2

Wow, I'm overwhelmed by your tremendous support, which helped us exceed our goal a day early! I have increased the goal to $7500 - please feel free to continue spreading the word to your network. We will keep going, and going, and going - until Putin turns back and the havoc he's caused is repaired.

Update #1

Dear community - I'm so deeply grateful for the outpouring of support. In less than 2 days, we're at nearly 80% of our initial goal. I'm working to get the first tranche of funding disbursed as soon as possible. This has been a tough night for the city of my birth, Kiev, but miraculously - and thanks to the heavy resistance ordinary Ukranians engaged in throughout the night - it is still standing. Again, I'm very thankful for the outpouring of support, as are my relatives who are still there and all the people of Ukraine.
