Row Zambezi Sculling Club (RZSC) started as a virtual rowing club made up of rowers who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others through our sport (and like a little adventure). We are raising funds for a local NGO, Village Water, to put this money to work in Zambia and Mozambique, bringing clean water and sanitation infrastructure to communities in need, and building the next generation of rowers in East Africa.RZSC has completed three expeditions on the Zambezi and Kafue Rivers and has rowed across Lake Kariba. As an international group, we encompass club, elite, and Olympic rowers from the UK, USA, Europe, and Africa, rowing together to make an impact.
It is the honor of a lifetime to have been invited to join this group as we complete the final expedition, rowing 900km along the Zambezi from Tete, Mozambique to the Indian Ocean and across Lake Cahora Bossa, crossing the border on water into Zambia. Together we are On Water, For Water.
