Little Southeastern Technology and Robotics—also known as lilSTAR—is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), founded in 2017 (EIN: 82-0659494). For the past two years, we have teamed up with a dozen volunteer mentors,  technical experts, entrepreneurs, and educators to encourage youth development and STEM education, using experiential learning techniques.

During our inaugural Winter Robotics program, one of the students, Laileanna, said  she was going to grow up to build autonomous race cars. After a short course in video game building and a field trip to Sony’s engineering campus, another student changed her interest-level score in a video game development career from 2 to 5 on a scale of 5.
