I have had neck and back issues since my mom and I were in a car accident my freshman year in high school.  So I didn't think anything of waking with a sore shoulder. I tried to work through it like normal. It was getting worse daily. After a couple weeks I was hardly sleeping and the doctor told me to take time off and rest. A week off and I felt a little better. Tried working part time/ light duty while going to physical therapy because I couldn't afford not to work. I was already behind on my bills because I had recently missed 2 weeks of work because of a separate medical emergency doctors initially said was a heart attack racking up over $9k in bills. I am still currently unaware what caused that because the current injury popped up and is top priority. Two days into light duty and it was apparent I couldn't handle it. My left arm and shoulder began going numb with tingling shooting pain constantly. After 3 more moths of waiting the recent MRI showed I need neck surgery and I am still waiting for a surgery date. The recovery will be estimated 3-5 weeks before I can work again. That has been the only good news. It is much more manageable than the near 4 years and 4 surgeries my leg reconstruction took. My savings are gone, my car just broke down, and keeping my phone on will take up most the money I have. Most of my family have moved out of state so I am relying on just a couple people for support. Everything donated will go toward food, medical, and basic living expenses. Phone, Transportation, etc. Through my recovery. Anything no matter how small helps. Even if its just sharing it with someone else. Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this far.
