When you donate to this project, not only will you directly support the hard working artists and contribute to the technical aspects of the production, you will influence a culture and a community!
“Ripple” is an exploration into the expressive and innovative combination of art and technology that merges the movement of sound and light with the movement of bodies. Each element is woven together amongst 8 foot LED columns and a 360 degree sound system where performers and technology blend to create a seamless spectacle.
This project is unique in the fact that there is no singular driver of the process, the music, lights and dance are all on equal footing and truly compliment each other. The sound and lights are produced by Tom Montagliano. The choreographic process directed by Erika Ruegemer and Jonathan Lowery, and the choreography for each piece has been created by the dancers of Rochester Dance Theatre.
CATCH THE RIPPLE...
We’re asking for a little bit of help with this production because it’s highly technical and requires quite a bit of electronics and physical components. In addition to the gear, we’re really focused on the quality of the performance and keeping the seats limited to create the best experience for our audience members.
When you support this project you will create a ripple effect! Your contribution will go directly into building the production and supporting the hard working artists. Our funds will be used for lights (6 par cans and cables), costumes (for 7 dancers), chairs (40 black cushioned folding chairs), supplies and artist stipends.
The extra resources and time it takes to create a production like this are all worth it, because it leaves the audience members with a lasting impression that they’ll remember for a very long time. Catch the ripple. Donate Today! Any amount you choose to give will be greatly appreciated.
SAVE YOUR SEAT...
