Why make the LINK? To restore the historic river and canal waterway linking the county town of Stafford and the National Waterway Network for the benefit of the community and all interested groups.
Dating back to the early 1800s, the original Link, owned by Lord Stafford, transported coal, lime and merchandise into the centre of Stafford whilst at the same time providing recreation for pleasure boaters....
