RELIEF FROM THE ENTERTAINMENT STRIKE

RELIEF FROM THE ENTERTAINMENT STRIKE

From Kutcha H

I am raising money to support myself proceeding the 3.5 months of being unemployed due to the actors' and writers' strike. I stand in solidarity with them. The funds will be used to take care of basic needs into Jan 2024

Update #2

Dear Friends & Supporters,
Thank you for sticking with me. Today is September 2-2023, and AMTP & SAG-AFTRA are still on strike. While I try and remain hopeful, it is nerve-racking.

If you can still donate anything, it would greatly help, and any amount is acceptable.

Sincerest regard,
Kutcha

More Info

Due to the actor & writer strike since May 2023, I have not worked as an actor. I have searched for "regular" work and have applied to over 50 positions. One company reached out, but I quickly found it was an MLM company. My goal is to try and pivot comfortably into a steady stream of employment with income. This strike is said to continue into Jan 2024. It is my most significant concern to prevent homelessness and be able to provide for myself the basic needs going into the colder seasons during this transition and disruption. Your help would make this all possible—my sincerest gratitude in advance.

Update #1

Hello Supporters, I hope you are well. I just received a text from a co-worker who heard the entertainment industry will continue to strike until the end of this year. This is not good news.
