Hi Friends. I know there was some confusion as to how to donate - but I have it cleared up now. I apologize for the relentless posts. I appreciate your support in helping me. Let me know if you have questions. http://fundly.com/relief-for-the-philippines-typhoon-haiyan

More Info

After the recent calamity that has hit the Southern-Region of the Philippines, efforts have been organized on behalf of the Philippine Improvement Organization to provide relief among the Tacloban area. Typhoon Haiyan has claimed the lives of many and destructed countless rural areas. As an Ogden Local and returned missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Philippines is a second home to me and many others.

What initially started out as a merely a good thought has transformed into a partnership with a Non-Profit organization. Sunday evening I was thinking of ways in which I could lend a helping hand to the Filipino people. After a few posts on social media, I soon found that I was not the only one wanting to help the resilient people of the Philippines.  I have had the opportunity of meeting several new friends these past few days, all with the same goal: to help the loving people of the Philippines.

Revive Service works with non-profit organizations in helping them with organizing service tours. There is a long lasting relationship between Revive and the Philippine Improvement Group. Both organizations are pulling together their resources, along with a few Utah locals like me, to organize a relief trip that will go back and help the rebuilding of schools. We need your help in spreading the word – Donations of money and other helpful resources are greatly appreciated.
