When Jamestown flooded on September 9-17, 2013, 137 homes were affected. 50% of the roads and the town’s volunteer fire department fire hall were destroyed. The Folks of Jamestown are amazingly resilient. The residents have been working hard to rebuild the community, including those who lost everything.
Twig Hair Salon, Boulder, is offering a “Cutting for a cause” day to help raise money and awareness for Jamestown. The money raised will go to the town directly and is tax deductible. All donations will help to rebuild the town’s infrastructures (water lines, roads, bridges, floodways, etc).
The minimum amount for an appointment is $300.00, but with your help and support we can raise more. Please help me in raising money I can use on myself or donate to a victim of the flood. Thank you so much for your help and support as we put this town back together!
