My first session is over and now it is time to raise money for session two reElection 2020. Funds also used for lunches for school groups and clubs when they visit capitol.
I became your state representative because I wanted to make sure when someone in my district had a problem they could call me and I would do everything to make sure they received the help they needed. The other part of being a representative is being a voice in Jefferson City and making sure our SouthWest Missouri values are represented. I admit there has been lots of things to learn about the various state departments, but I believe through my love for learning, I have been a sponge soaking up everything. This summer, I have been placed on several health working committees trying to build on what is working and fix what is not working. If we are truly going to fix a broken system, we must first know everything about that system and research other successful systems to see what is best for Missouri. As much as I miss being a teacher, I have found that there are lots of things that need fixing in Jefferson City and being representative allows me to help more kids and their families while making Missouri better for everyone.
This is where I need your help to ensure that I am able to continue serving YOU and continue to Represent YOU in Jefferson City.
The hardest thing about running for representative is asking for contributions. I don’t think no one likes asking for money. The money that goes into this account is used for many things throughout the year that benefits school group and clubs visiting the Capitol. It is also put back in the community through advertising, community events and fundraisers. I cannot do this alone, your monetary support is needed and appreciated.
