I am running to represent Independent School District 196 as a school board member. Critical to our district's success: 1. Steady/dependable funding 2. Meeting students where they're at 3. Strong support for teachers
I've lived in district 196 since I was a child and benefited from a fantastic education and graduated from Eagan High School in 1997. More than twenty years later my husband and I are still deeply invested in the district and its success - our three children attend Falcon Ridge Middle School and Echo Park Elementary.
Since my graduation from the College of St. Benedict, I have worked in a corporate setting which has allowed me to understand company's responsibility to serve customers, employees, and shareholders. A school district isn't all that different, except these customers are FAR more precious. By investing in our students we pass down a tradition of curiosity, community, and responsibility that will serve us for years to come.
A donation to my campaign will allow me to pay for my literature and lawn signs, giving me the best shot to win a seat on the School Board in November.
