The Kindness Revolution is raising money to fund meals to be paid for as "random acts of kindness". Surprised customers are told that their meals have been paid for and requested to do something nice for someone else.

The Kindness Revolution is a 14 year old national non-profit organization with a mission to raise the awareness of kindness in communities and schools. We are proud to be led in Jonesboro by the Robert Byrd Farmers Agency.
Our "Random Kindness Campaign" is simple and fun! We select a local restaurant (bistro, coffee shop, deli, cupcake store, ice cream shop, pizza place, etc,) and present $250-500 dollars to the pay for the tabs of customers during a specified period of time. The tabs are covered until the money is gone.
Customers are informed that their tab is being covered by The Kindness Revolution with a request that the customer do something nice for someone else. Each customer receives a letter from the CEO/Founder of The Kindness Revolution that includes information about The Kindness Revolution and the names of the supporters which made the event possible via their donations (Friends of The Kindness Revolution).
Here is one of many responses:
"Our family was told by our server that our meal was paid for by The Kindness Revolution. The letter we were given requested that we do something nice for someone else.
We had fun discussing during our meal what we could do as a family. This is terrific and much needed in today's environment!"
Individual donations include membership as "Friends of The Kindness Revolution" and are welcome of any amount. We welcome corporate donations as well! While contributions or gifts to The Kindness Revolution are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes, they may be tax deductible under other provisions of the Internal Revenue Code.
