More Info

Madge was dropped at the shelter after her owner passed away. There was no family to care for her, so Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue saved this sweet, neglected lady.

The shelter estimated her age at 12 years old; however, the vet discovered she's only 6 but has faced a tough life. When we picked her up, her fur was matted, her nails were overgrown and she was limping.

We brought her into her hospice foster home where she was washed, nails were trimmed and special care was taken to remove the hair out of her eyes.

The vet exam showed that she is completely blind. She has an old injury to her hind right leg that wasn't cared for properly and it dangles as she walks. It will need to be amputated.

Funds for this sweet girl will be used for surgery to amputate her leg, recovery, spaying, medications, dental treatments, vaccines and other preventative measures to give her a healthy, happy life.
