More Info

I’m 35, and live paycheck to paycheck working for not much more than minimum wage. My daughter recently moved out after graduating HS and is planning on moving to Florida where her dad lives and experience life outside of Michigan where our career opportunities, and  options for employment advancement are limited. I have family in California, job opportunities, and most importantly my sister, who is my best friend. It cost a lot to move across the county, money I’d never be able to obtain without the help of others. The money would go primarily to moving costs.. Truck/trailer rental, gas, road tolls, possible overnight stop to rest, as it is a 2500 mile trip. Anything left would help upon arrival while I start working. Although I know my family there would never allow me to be homeless, at least if for any reason it was my reality I wouldn’t freeze during the winters here in Michigan.
