Great news!! Pug had his mouth surgery on Friday and sailed through it like a champ. He's finished his course of painkiller, with a few days more on antibiotics, but his eyes are gleaming again and his sleep is already whimper-free. (I've heard animals heal MUCH faster than humans.)

Re the surgery bill Pug's vet Dr. Munjal matched the $400 I raised on Fundly, and comp'd the remaining $200!!

A HUGE thank you to everyone I lassoed into my first crowd-sourcing attempt. Whether you donated or not, hearing of my crowd-sourcing inspired Dr. Munjal to match the funds that were raised and the final result is stunning: a healthy, pain-free Pug and a paid bill. It just doesn't get any better than this.

Thank you so much for being a part of the lasso and making this great thing happen. Oh, and Pug sends his ABSOLUTE loudest of purring-thanks too.

More Info

Dear friends, I rescued this handsome fella off the street 8 years ago, and he has been my funny, healthy, loving and well-loved companion ever since! Over the years he has given so much to me. Pug needs serious emergency surgery right away to fix an angry, raw infected mouth; I am blindsided by the immediacy of his need and cannot cover the $1,000 vet bill alone.

I know it’s Covid belt-tightening times but if you can help support Pug’s surgery with a donation of any size, I will be able to end his substantial current pain and short-circuit danger of further infection spreading throughout his body.

$1,000 total covers putting him under anesthetic, surgically extracting teeth, and removing all infection. Also, the post-procedure antibiotics & pain-killers he needs for recovery is in the sum.  Pug has no other health issues, and will be good as new once this surgery is done!

Watching him struggle to eat, and twitch from pain trying to rest is agony. Any size donation you can make asap will get him on the surgical table quickly and end both our suffering. I totally understand if you are not able to donate right now.     Sending love, Andrea
