Project Helpdesk is a work experience program for job seekers with disabilities. Your donation and re-post will help people with disabilities overcome barriers to employment!
We need your help to raise $25,000 to fund Project Helpdesk! Thanks to anonymous donors, we have already received $10,000 to kick off our fundraising efforts!
Project Helpdesk will offer a paid work experience program for job seekers with disabilities in our community. For jobseekers with disabilities, one of the biggest barriers to obtaining employment is a lack of recent, relevant paid work experience. After graduating from CTP’s work preparedness programs we know that our graduates are capable of working but that they just need the chance to prove themselves. CTP is uniquely positioned to serve this population by expanding our already successful computer repair and refurbishing program to include helpdesk support! We're going to need your social sharing powers tomorrow! Your donation and re-post will help people with disabilities overcome barriers to employment!
Since 1974, Computer Technologies Program, a 501c3 nonprofit, has stayed true to its mission to improve employment opportunities for people with disabilities by providing training in information technologies, self-marketing strategies, and advocacy in partnership with the business and workforce development communities.
