I'm raising money to build a pavilion for preschool children in Africa. Donations will purchase the materials to build this structure for them. Support my campaign to follow my progress and share with your friends!
Below is the petition I received from my village contact back in March:

WUDZEDEKE village is one of the remote communities in Ghana. It’s situated in the southern part of Ziope Traditional Area in Agotime-Ziope District of Volta Region of Ghana.
The major occupation in the area is farming. Although, 35% of the people in the area are farmers, our environment mostly disappoints us. In most cases rain fails us and all our farm produce get dried, and in other cases the rain falls heavier and carry our produce away. The other 5% are the teachers and health workers and the rest are chidren.
Wudzedeke has one Basic School ( Kindergatern, Primary and Junior High School ) The current population of the area is 2,657 people including the children. Major local language spoken by the people is Ewe, and few people who travel outside the community speak other languages.
The Wudzedeke community has one Health Center with Maternity which serves the people in the area and beyond.
The current major challenge the community has is a pavilion for the Kindergatern children. The two shades used by the pupils seriously blew away in January, this year by wind storm. The efforts by the community people appealing to the District Assembly to put up a new modern and durable shed for the school has failed. They are currently learning under trees which is dangerous if rain falls.
Last Friday, 12 th March, 2021 we the parents of our children had a meeting with the teachers and decided to raise fund in order to construct a dual pavilion for the school in which our children can have a good and safe education and to build the community in future.
In the meeting we identified your efforts towards the good education of our children. In the meeting, we resolved to sent our plight to you and all the team members who came to construct the urinals for the school together with well-wishers in America and Canada to support us with $ 4,765.00 to buy the Materials for the construction of the structure for the children. We the parents will fetch water, sand and all manners of labor in the process of the construction.
Ghana Education Service has warned us to put up this structure early to avoid transferring teachers to other places. And if this is done, then that is the end of our children’s education.
We pray that Our Loving and Merciful God will touch the hearts of his people to assist the school with this sincere need.
For any further information, we are so glad to deliver.
Thank and God be with you all.
