The Chicago Chapter Charities Foundations CCCF is proud to present our 5th annual fundraiser, Power and Purpose Chicago 2021! This year’s theme is "Harnessing Our Power To Fulfill Our Purpose”.

Power & Purpose was designed to bring together philanthropic, civic and corporate leaders to engage in discussion around issues that affect the lives of African Americans in Chicago and beyond. We seek to harness the collective power of our guests to create and promote awareness and, ultimately, change.

Since 2016, Power and Purpose has featured dynamic speakers addressing our mental health initiative. Each event has hosted over 300 guests allowing us to give grants in excess of $100,000 to community-based organizations with focus on African Americans. Our 2021 grant recipients are Firebird Community Arts, Habilitative Systems, Inc. and The Night Ministry. These organizations offer a range of services which include; artist development and trauma recovery, youth violence and recidivism prevention, emergency and transitional housing for teen mothers and much more. To help provide these organizations with the resources they need, please donate her on Fundly. Every dollar makes an impact.

As part of this timely virtual event, we are thrilled to host a fireside chat led by Linsey Davis, Anchor of ABC World News Tonight, featuring Sunny Hostin, Co-Host of The View. This dynamic conversation will examine the challenges facing the mental health of African American women, pre and post Covid-19.

Partnership is crucial to the success of the CCCF mission, and we welcome the opportunity to partner with you in our continued mission of positively impacting our community. For more information about Power and Purpose 2021, please email event co-chairs Kimbra Bell Balark and Carole Wood at powerandpurpose@cccfinc.org.

We hope that you will join us to be inspired, enlightened and empowered. There has never been a more important time to engage our power and our purpose.
