Great news!

Due to the overwhelming response from local artists, and to ensure everyone's safety, we have had to add on another filming date. Please find our updated and finalized budget on our home page! We have also extended our campaign. 35 days is plenty of time for us to meet our new goal!

THANK YOU for your donation and continued support!

More Info

Assembly is a non-profit theatre company whose mission is to bring people together as a family for the purpose of community and life-giving experiences. Our vision is to present art that portrays truth, poses questions, challenges the beholder, and ultimately inspires hope. For more information on the work we do and what we are all about, please visit: assemblytheaco.org.

In line with our values and in light of the racism that persists in our country, our Fall production will be a streamed showcase of short pieces built around the theme, "No one is free until everyone is free" (Fannie Lou Hamer). We believe our liberation is inextricably bound up in the liberation of others, and that art has the power to unify and heal. This showcase will feature stories by POC as well as white performers who are pursuing anti-racism.

These pieces, curated by Corissa Pacillas Smith and Directed by Herb Hall, will be screened sometime in late September- mid October.

We invite you to partner with us as we stand in solidarity with black, indigenous, and people of color through contributing to this important work. Art has the power to heal, unify, and move conversations forward.

Thank you for your donation!
