PNW Homeless Winter Readiness Project

PNW Homeless Winter Readiness Project

From Tiara Broomer

I'm on a mission to hand out support bags to the homeless before it gets freezing. These bags would include blankets, water, food, toiletries, etc. and would be distributed around the Greater Seattle and Portland areas.

Hello! My name is Tiara and I'm a young LGBTQAI POC living in Portland that recently relocated from Seattle. There's something I've noticed while living in both of these cities; we have a serious homelessness problem in the Pacific Northwest and not enough people willing to help. This year, instead of focusing on buying my family and friends gifts like I do every year, I want to give back to the less fortunate and hand out Winter Readiness kits before it gets freezing up here. These kits would include reusable bags, blankets, hand warmers, water and food, toiletries, hand sanitizer and face masks, etc. and would be distributed by my mother and I (and anyone else who wants to help!) around the Greater Seattle and Portland areas.I'm just one person trying to make a difference, but I don't have the means to make 100% of the contributions myself in my current financial situation. I will absolutely donate what I can afford to my own cause, but your support to help make this happen is greatly appreciated! You may also donate items directly via this list:
